ATEX certified for gas and dust zones

Manufacturing ATEX / UKEX drum emptying equipment has been an integral part of STS for many years. This pneumatic-hydraulic drum tipper can be supplied for use in zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. We ensure electrical continuity throughout the machine with a path to 'ground' always being present. Each piece of ATEX equipment is supplied with a manufacturer’s Declaration of Conformity showing compliance with the directives and relevant British and ISO Standards.

Stainless-steel model for clean environments

We can offer this drum tipper in stainless steel, suitable for clean rooms and good manufacturing practice (GMP) areas. Our stainless steel models are made from 304-grade material, and the finish is smooth and clean thanks to our modern vibratory polishing methods. We use nickel/chrome-plated hydraulic rams on these versions of the drum rotator.
