Our powered drum tipper can be supplied as an electric model or pneumatic model for ATEX areas. The powered clamping head handles drums and barrels from 50 to 220 litres. quickly and safely.

Features

We design, build and test all our powered drum tippers in our UK manufacturing facility. Sourcing the highest-quality parts ensures that all our units require minimal maintenance.

Fast and efficient drive system

Electric version: Suitable for safe areas, this fully-powered drum tipper comprises of a 24V onboard battery bank and a powerful drive motor. When the unit is not in use, simply connect the mains-powered charger to recharge the batteries.

 

Pneumatic: Suitable for hazardous areas, our pneumatic barrel tippers can be certified for use in ATEX environments. Operators connect an airline to power pneumatic-hydraulic functions, which power the lift, clamp, rotation and drive of the machine.

Stainless-steel model for clean environments

We can offer each unit in stainless steel, suitable for clean rooms and good manufacturing practice (GMP) areas. Our stainless steel drum clamp lifters are made from 304-grade material, and the finish is smooth and clean thanks to our modern vibratory polishing process. We use nickel/chrome-plated hydraulic rams on these versions of the drum tipper. The lift chains are zinc-plated to ensure corrosion resistance.
