Effortless Pallet Handling: The Power Clamp Drum Tipper is engineered to lift drums directly from the corner of a 1200 x 1200mm square pallet, making the initial gripping process simple and efficient.

Here's how you can safely and easily lift a drum straight from a 1200 x 1200mm pallet:

Approach the Pallet: With the clamping arms fully open, approach the corner of the pallet, allowing the lifter's arms to straddle the sides.

Secure the Drum: Position the lifter so the clamping pads can grab the front of the drum. Activate the clamp to secure the drum, ensuring the arms are as far forward as possible for a stable grip. A hydraulic pressure gauge allows you to confirm that the drum is securely held.

Lift and Move: Lift the drum just 10 to 20cm clear of the pallet. This lift clearance is all you need to move the drum away.

Finalise the Grip: Lower the drum to the floor and release the clamping arms. Then, move the drum handler further forward so that the arms fully encompass the drum. Re-clamp the arms around the drum to the correct pressure for a full, stable grip.

With the drum fully encompassed and clamped, it is now ready to be lifted and moved anywhere on the floor, including to a tipping or decanting station.

This method eliminates the need for manual repositioning, providing a single, seamless solution for lifting drums from pallets.
